"We take this earliest opportunity to convey our sincere apologies to our esteemed listeners and loyal clients for not doing a live broadcast in the last 24 hours. Will Radio Lake Victoria resume operation?

The station is situated on Dunga Beach in Kisumu, just meters from the lake's edge.

Photographs taken depict the studio standing empty, with only an electrical extension cord and curtains remaining.

However, the management promised their listeners to resume daily broadcasts and offered a sincere apology for the inconvenience caused.

"We are working day and night to resume our daily live Broadcasts as soon as possible. We take this earliest opportunity to apologise to all our esteemed clients for the inconvenience caused and promise to be back with a bang. Continue listening to 92.1 FM," added the statement.
