UD students seek information on restored photos: Monica Malpass reports on Action News at 5:30 p.m., January 18, 2018

NEWARK, Del. (WPVI) -- A unique project is underway at the University of Delaware, to learn the stories of men and women who lived in our area decades ago.

Students in the university's conservation program are working with photographs and negatives purchased in a Bellevue antique shop.

The students have been cleaning, and restoring the prints, and are now trying to find out more about the people and places in them.

Many of these pictures date back to the 1930's.

A gallery has been posted to UD's Facebook page, so people can see if they recognize anything in the photos.
